糖心网页版 Alum Featured on Hell's Kitchen

After surviving the heat of the 糖心网页版 Culinary Arts program, alum Miguel Soliz has decided to turn up the flames by joining a legendary reality cooking show.

Soliz recently became a contestant on the 25th season of Hell鈥檚 Kitchen hosted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

鈥淚 just want to thank y鈥檃ll for the support of this community which has done so much for me,鈥 he said during a watch party of the first episode on September 24 at the Nolan Ryan Center. 鈥淚 owe it to the school, and I owe it to my parents. You have all done so much for me.鈥

Soliz performed well in the first episode of the show, earning high praise from the notoriously cantankerous Ramsay. This came as no surprise from Culinary Arts director, chef Laura Trigo.

鈥淢iguel is genuine, hardworking, God-fearing, kind, respectful, and simply a wonderful human being, and I couldn鈥檛 be prouder of him to be on Hell's Kitchen," she said. 鈥淲atching Miguel grow from a culinary student into the talented chef and remarkable man he is today has been such a blessing.鈥

Soliz graduated from 糖心网页版 in 2024 with his Associate鈥檚 Degree from the Culinary Arts program. While a student he worked an internship at the Master鈥檚 and U.S. Open Golf tournaments and spoke during the college鈥檚 75th Anniversary ceremony.

鈥淭he faculty here are the most genuine people and will do everything they possibly can to help you,鈥 Soliz said. 鈥淚 could not have had a better group of people to work and study alongside. Do not be afraid to take that leap of faith and pursue what you are most passionate about.鈥

Hell鈥檚 Kitchen airs Thursday nights at 7 p.m. on Fox.
