ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ Hosts Skills USA Competition
Local high school students had a chance to test their abilities in several different skills during the SkillsUSA Competition at ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ on February 7.
SkillsUSA is a national organization that encourages student success in the workforce. There are annual skill competitions throughout the country annually in automotive, welding, drafting, cosmetology, culinary arts, criminal justice and more.
ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ hosted students from several local high schools in competitions for animation, advertising, information technology, audio/video production, software programing, web design and more .
The first and second place winners in each competition will represent the region at a statewide competition in Corpus Christi in April.
