ҳ Foundation Awards Scholarships
The ҳ Foundation has awarded $134,000 in scholarships to current students and graduating seniors across the region for the 2026–27 academic year.
Of that total, more than $74,000 was awarded to graduating seniors from local high schools, including Alvin, Pearland, Manvel, Shadow Creek, Iowa Colony, Friendswood, Dawson, RISE Academy, and Turner. Nearly $60,000 will support current ҳ students as they continue their educational journeys.
Many of the scholarships awarded are established as memorials or honorary gifts, created by families to recognize individuals who made a lasting impact on the community.
A highlight each year is the Foundation’s Opportunity Scholarship, funded entirely through its fundraising events. This scholarship reflects the direct impact of community support, turning event participation into meaningful financial assistance for students.
Each year, the Foundation raises critical funds through community support and events to help remove financial barriers and open doors to higher education.
“We are proud to support these outstanding students as they take the next step toward their future,” said Wendy Del Bello, Executive Director of the Foundation. “Seeing their excitement and determination is a powerful reminder of why this work matters and the impact our community can make together.”
