ACC Library Kicks Off 2025-26 Speaker Series
A meteorologist, a children’s book author, journalists, a mayor and a chef are just some of the guests of the 2025-26 Alvin Community College Speaker Series.
The series was created to bring engaging speakers to campus and share their experiences and expertise with students and the community.
“We have a great lineup of talented and informative speakers from our local community in the ACC Library Speaker Series this year,” ACC Librarian Mark Love said. “We are looking forward to hosting these events for our campus and local communities.”
The series will open with KPRC Meteorologist Justin Stapleton on September 10 starting at 1 p.m. Children’s author Skylar Garcia-Frost will follow on September 25 at 2 p.m.
October will feature counselor and musical performer Tom Wilbeck on October 7 at 2 p.m. and journalists Jacob and Matt Rascon from KHOU on October 23 at 1 p.m.
